Mumbai’s renowned literary and cultural organization Udaan will organize its 28th Holikotsav on March 3 and 4 at Azad Maidan. The two-day celebration promises a unique blend of spirituality, literature and social harmony.
In a joint press statement, the organization’s President Yuvraj Jain and Convener Suresh Jain stated that Udaan has entered its 28th year and continues to contribute to society through dedicated literary service. They emphasized that the Holikotsav has become a symbol of cultural tradition and social unity.
On the first day, March 3, a Panchkalyanak Mahapuja will be held from 8:00 a.m. onwards for world peace and the welfare of all living beings. According to the organizers, the spiritual ceremony aims to promote peace, harmony and moral values in society.
On the second day, March 4, at 5:00 p.m., a grand All-India Hasya Kavi Sammelan (national humorous poetry conference) will be organized to mark the auspicious festival of Holi. Senior and popular poets from different parts of the country will present their humorous and satirical compositions, entertaining and engaging the audience.
The organizers said that the Holikotsav is not merely a festival of colors, but a vibrant platform representing cultural harmony, literary enthusiasm, and national unity bringing together people from all sections of society to spread the message of brotherhood and love.
