Mumbai-based SanRaj Group to invest ₹2,000 crore in Uttar Pradesh, plans cancer hospital and data centre

Mumbai-based SanRaj Group has announced plans to invest nearly ₹2,000 crore in Uttar Pradesh, with projects spanning healthcare, data infrastructure and hospitality. The proposed investment includes setting up a cancer hospital, a 10-megawatt data centre and hospitality facilities, aimed at strengthening healthcare services and boosting the state’s digital ecosystem.The announcement follows a meeting between SanRaj Group representatives and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday, where the proposed projects and investment plans were discussed in detail.

SanRaj Group co-founder Rajdeep Gupta, along with company representative Rahul Pandey and other members of the delegation, met the Chief Minister in Lucknow to present the company’s vision for expanding operations in the state. During the meeting, discussions focused on improving cancer treatment facilities and building stronger digital infrastructure.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath highlighted the state government’s investment promotion initiative Invest UP during the meeting and directed officials to ensure that all necessary approvals for the company’s projects are processed swiftly through the single-window clearance system .He also reiterated that the Uttar Pradesh government is committed to creating a transparent, investor-friendly environment by simplifying administrative procedures and accelerating approvals for major investment proposals.

According to Gupta, the group intends to invest across three major sectors—healthcare, data centres and hospitality, which are expected to support both economic growth and social development. The proposed cancer hospital is expected to provide advanced and accessible treatment to patients suffering from serious illnesses. Experts believe that once operational, the facility could significantly reduce the need for patients to travel outside the state for specialised cancer treatment.

Rajdeep Gupta said the company’s aim is contributing to society by strengthening healthcare, technology and infrastructure.

‘With these projects, we hope to create long-term value for the people of Uttar Pradesh while supporting the state’s growth journey,’ he said.

According to the company, Uttar Pradesh is emerging as a major destination for investment and development and SanRaj Group sees significant opportunities to contribute to the state’s evolving economic landscape through its planned projects.
